4% increase this year. Military pay increases, more troops, some good stuff.

The concern, however is supplying our forces. Obama is likely to cut program needed to provide them with their next generation of weapons. He’s not at this point hollowing the military, but he is setting up a way in which it might become hollow. A lot of what we have will need to be replaced soon.
