The Celtic language was from the indo-european group, so sanskrit must be way back there somewhere. But by the time they were a distinct ethnic group, they were in central Europe. Fascinating people!
All European languages are in the Indo-European group except for Basque and i think Finnish. That doesn’t mean the people came from India. More than likely they all spoke a single language around the Black Sea area 70000-ish years ago and some migrated south east, others migrated west into Europe.
