I’m not much of an expert on the Khmer Rouge myself, so I can’t really speak to that particular detail. I do know that at one of the camps they used pickaxes in mass executions, because it was too damn expensive to waste the bullets.

But are you seriously suggesting that the horror that’s gone down in in Iraq or Afghanistan in the past several years is somehow unique in its horror in a way that surpasses Rwanda, the Congo, Cambodia, all of Latin America, Stalin, Hitler, and the ANC necklacing people?

What the hell am I missing?
