The Catholic Church is getting really, really obvious about politicking. This is very dangerous for them. I wonder why they’re picking such a stupid issue to fight this hard over, given that their own followers don’t agree with them.

I suspect these orders come all the way from the Top. Benedict XVI is a real stickler for doctrine and dogma.
