I have to disagree that Obama is “center-right”. I do think he’s a man of intelligence and integrity, and has been hamstrung on more than a few occasions by Republicans. I’d describe him more as “center-left”.

He simply knows what battles he can win, how he can win them, and doesn’t waste his time on those he can’t win, no matter how he approaches them. A little more help from other Dems during his first term should have been their first priority, and those refusing to endorse him or campaign for him the second time around should be ashamed of themselves. I refuse to lay their failures on him.
