I bought a Bialetti stovetop coffee maker last week and I’m using distilled water with it, as the instuctions suggested. I honestly can’t taste a difference, but the distilled water is supposed to be better for the pot.

Using distilled water will prevent crud from building up on the bottom of the pot. It will make a difference in the long run.
