Yes I know he is pandering to his supporters but he is also angry his officers are getting derided. We’ll just see what happens but this investigation will accomplish nothing and will harm our national security. The friggin jihadists must be laughing out loud at America.

Maybe not just our national security, but our democracy.

Suppose you’re a general, SecDef or President who has to make ruthless wartime decisions. You can now expect that, years later, your decisions will be scrutinized in depth by ambitious lawyers: lawyers who at best are amoral and at worst view victory as an atrocity. What do you do?

(I also agree with #492 doubter4444 that the CIA has serious problems, but getting Holder involved will only make them worse.)
