I had 8 (ugh), have 8.1 and could not find the icon that was supposedly there to allow me to pre-order 10. Looked everywhere. Checked all settings. Nothing.

Guess I’ll fire up the laptop later today to see if somehow it mysteriously, automatically installed 10. (Or, I can simply stomp it into smithereens, throw it out the window and start from scratch.)

I downloaded 10 for my old laptop (and a copy for the new laptop is all goes well), and I can’t get past entering my Product Key to start the installation. So I guess that’s probably that, for the old laptop, at least.
