Democrats in 2004 - Thought the election was in the bag. Campaigned against bush as the antichrist, they were full of hate and angry. They Lost.

The GOP has it’s choice to make in ‘12. The lessons of History are there if they want to hear.

They need to give people a reason to vote for their candidate rather than against Obama. I was one of the few people who actually campaigned for Kerry as opposed to campainging against Bush. If that makes any sense. Obama I think did well in 2008 because he had people out there who actually supported him rather than despised his opponent. Sure, I imagine there were some who were energized against McCain but there was much more anthuaisum for Obama than Kerry or Gore 4 and 8 years earlier.
