Against war (all war) or just a conflict against Iran before they get their hands on nukes?

You see, I see war as a necessary evil - justified war doctrine has its place, and a small war now could prevent a much larger conflagration later. Taking the Iranian regime out before they get their hands on nukes is preferable given what a nuclear weapon could do in the hands of the regime.

If we were to “take out” every “regime” that we disagreed with, or thought might be trying to get nuclear weapons, or we thought might use the nuclear weapons that they have, we’d be taking out a lot of countries. Israel has nukes, and it seems to be a fairly common belief that they could (and according to some people should) use them against their enemies…would you apply the same logic to them? I sure as fuck wouldn’t. Just as I don’t apply it to Iran.

A country is a lot more than just its current asshole leadership. Iran’s got enough internal problems to deal with right now that they’re not going to be invading anyone for the next decade. That gives the rest of the planet plenty of time to try to effect peaceful change there.
