Christie only ever had as a possible path a unification of what passes for moderate GOP primary voters. He could blow the fucking bridge up entirely and it still wouldn’t make him more than tepidly palatable to the truly far right. He’s got too many examples of being vaguely sane and rational. Those won’t go away; he has a much tougher path than Romney did.

i took at look at the freepers reaction and they’re all ‘fuck that RINO anyway’
