It’s going to take Trump turning on a Republican (donor) in some major way. Once that happens, and the Congressional GOP realizes that it can’t ride the alligator, then, maybe, the move for impeachment.

I don’t see it happening; it would enrage the Base that they need to get elected. Trump is safe as long as he is more popular with GOP voters than Congress is, and Congress is deeply unpopular.
