Obama would get to pose as the “savior of Israel” by claiming to guarantee that Israel is protected from Iranian nukes—provided Israel agrees to all his demands on behalf of the “Palestinians.” I don’t see it as unlikely in the least—and if the Iranians abrogate their agreement and Haifa and Tel Aviv get wiped out, well, who could possibly have foreseen that the Iranians wouldn’t honor their agreement?

How could he guarantee Israel will be safe when his administration is canceling the exact same missile defense systems he might need to do just that?
