neutral

re: #33 albusteve

present

In these things I never vote “neutral”. It’s like voting “present”. Which has no point to it whatsoever.

Back when I had to work for a living, the agency I worked for proposed a change to the HR rules (laws) governing state employment.

So of course there was a public hearing on the proposed change.

A group consisting of agency HR people came to the meeting, and got up and said, “We neither support nor object” to the proposed changes.

WTF? What was the point of that? Offer something constructive. If you can’t, then don’t be surprised when later, no one takes your complaints seriously.
