I don’t think of it as “fucking things up”. The bill that passed is bad, it needs to be majorly altered.

I don’t really believe that the bill was all that bad. That said, the Republican party has refused from day one to negotiate in good faith. Given that, it’s no better than a power plant NIMBY for them to complain when it’s not what they want (as I try to tie various things together ;) )
