My brother lives on the island where I am from. Haven’t heard if he bugged out or not. And FWIW, Tampa has a HUGE flooding problem. And this is a rain maker.

I thought it would hug the coast, but it’s going pretty far west into the gulf. The best for central Florida given the scenario. Isaac was a bust for South Florida. There’s a system out in the Atlantic which seems to be pushing it west. You can see it in the loop below.

The positive about Isaac is that it’s going fast. It passed Cuba between 17-21mph which is super quick. The faster it moves, the less wind it gains, tho it will most likely be a Cat 1 or 2 for the time it will have in the water. It’s down to 15mph now, but it just crossing the Keys and slows over land. It should pick up.

Here’s the 8pm update. It seems to be pushing more west. Could conceivably go into Texas.
