I like to think that LGF is a place where intellectuals of all stripes can come together, find common ground, and occasionally nerd-out without worrying that others will get uptight about “thread-jacking” and so forth. It’s a blog that doesn’t really take itself seriously, yet is still “serious business.”

You kind of threw me with that ‘find common ground’ bit. Kinda conflicts with the take no prisoners arguments.
