President Obama bowing to the Saudi King is a non issue and reflect a minor error in protocol. There’s no doubt he will be repeating that mistake again — one would think.

That being said President Bush isn’t bowing in the video and simply leaning over to receive a medal. However, President Bush did indeed “bow” by continuing America’s obeisance to the Saudis since the discovery of oil in the Mid-East region. This included some questionable actions following the discovery of unofficial Saudi involvement with 911 hijackers. If this involved the Executive Branch is unknown to me.

Obama will continue this obeisance to the Saudis and in effect continue the virtual bowing of America to the Arabs in the face of questionable ties in the region and a terrible human rights record.
