re: #516 lawhawk

My nephew’s at NYU law. It’s an excellent school, but grossly overpriced. The reason is simple: law schools are profit centers for universities. Once you have the building, a library, and a faculty, you’re done. Med schools, by contrast, has to scramble to acquire expense equipment and technologies that are changing constantly.

The universities shift the profits from law schools to other, less remunerative schools.
