I disagree, but I’m not gonna go there today. Depending on who you are referring to with the phrase “heavy hitters”, I might agree - some of these guys are pretty insufferable.

What I’m saying is that it takes faith to believe any religious dogma. There isn’t any sort of “preview tour” of heaven or valhalla or whatever you just have to like have faith and believe and hope or whatever.

Same thing for atheism as I understand it. There isn’t an sort of preview tour or whatever that proves there is “nothing” after death you just have to have faith and believe or whatever.

That’s why it’s so much fun to be an agnostic. You get to say “I don’t know shit” and never be trapped in a corner or have to rely on faith.
