Huh? I’ll leave that bolded statement be for now if you wish to restate it.

Those that support minorities are doing so going against MLK’s Golden Tenet. That being ‘judged by content of their character not color of their skin.’ Being of equal footing supported by that.

What you are essentially advocating is positive/supportive racism, supporting a people or race over another. Clearly not the same thing as negative/reductive bigotry, being against a race. What you are advocating is for a good cause with the best of intentions.

However, you are judging people by the color of their skin. There is no way around it. It’s essentially pro-racism for the sake of making up for the anti-racism.

I prefer to just stop all of it altogether and move on with it.

When I’m talking about protective laws, I’m speaking of laws that protect everyone. That you cannot be denied housing, education or jobs because or race, creed or color. Maybe that will clarify my position. I don’t judge folks on their race, creed or color and I’ll even throw religion and sex in there, but plenty of others do.
