it is about rich people building a Star Ark to carry them off Earth to escape the impending ecological catastrophe.

In the end, they escape, the Earth somehow manages to survive, but the rich folks?

They have no sense of the cooperation and hierarchy needed to survive on a Star Ark and eventually all perish in internecine squabbling and posturing…
