Can’t go wrong with brown-sugar glazed carrots. Easy and delicious. Add some amaretto if you’re feeling adventurous.

My one friend does glazed carrots with hot sauce* in the recipe.

* - More like a spicy steak sauce than an out-and-out hot sauce. Not vinegar based.
