You know, if you believe in God, wouldn’t it occur to you that all these fucking shootings are a hint that maybe 300 million firearms (and growing) in one country is too fucking many? This is going to continue to happen, with growing body counts until the nation as a whole wakes the fuck up and forces our useless politicians to focus resources on stopping this. It’s not one thing, it’s everything. Gun buy backs, stricter background checks, harsher penalties for illegal weapons, melting down the ones confiscated or surrendered voluntarily, more task force and special law enforcement work to disarm criminal enterprises and trafficking and so on. It should be at LEAST as hard to get a gun as it is to get licensed and insured to drive a car FFS. Oh, and make insurance for all gun owners mandatory, just like cars and homes.

Any why in the every loving HELL do civilians have access to military level armor and weapons? Why?
