I couldn’t help myself… the guy is trying to argue that Colbert’s monologue reaches the standard of actual malice - meaning that they are untrue statements made with knowledge of falsity or with reckless disregard of the truth. What’s really sad is the guy who wrote it is a lawyer. This is officially in “fuck this” territory.

Apparently that “lawyer” doesn’t understand the concept of satire. Larry Flynt already won this battle.
