The good news is if I don’t vote and the more reactionary candidate wins the system will ultimately, eventually, someday, collapse, then we can implement my magical, anti-corporate system.

In the fantasy world of the far-left, one of two things will eventually happen: Either we’ll keep getting progressively (no pun intended) worse politicians like Trump until the stink gets so bad that “the people” revolt and the system is torn down in favor of one that enjoys widespread support. OR their political rivals will get so desperate to win an election that they’ll break down and support a far-left candidate, who “the people” will vote for because they’ll be so much better than the reactionary candidates and thus the revolution will happen through the voting booth.

The idea of slow, gradual progress is totally lost on them. As is the idea that the damage done by those reactionary politician is not going to be easy or quick to fix, which will only lead to further lunacy when they start attacking their own candidates for failure to fix the country overnight.
