Ever have to fight Canadian Thistle? They are the tall , thorny weeds.
It seems like the roots go for a couple of counties . You have to did & pull , then dig & pull some more. I hate those things.

The house next door is foreclosed, and those things have taken over the flower beds. The bank mows the lawn, but lets the rest of the property go, literally, to seed. It looks like hell. I’m thinking of hosing the front down with Weed-B-Gone before the thistles spread to my yard. They’re a total bitch to get rid of once they’re established.
