I can’t help but notice that those most opposed to the ERA claim that it is unnecessary because of the 14th amendment’s equal protection clause would also be inclined to be in favor of Justice Scalia’s originalist jurisprudence.

You know…the justice who not so long ago said that the 14th amendment doesn’t apply to women because they were obviously talking about former slaves when they wrote it?
