Morning. Was looking through the NY Times obits this morning and recognized a face many of us would see on TV back in the 60s. Character actor Sid Melton passed away at the age of 94. He played “Friendly Freddy” on Gomer Pyle, USMC and “Alf Monroe” on Green Acres.
