The latter is the GOP threatening to cut funding to DHS over immigration fight.

But remember, we’re supposed to take them seriously because the GOP won. Oh, and they now try to take credit for the economic recovery in 2014, even though they fought the President every step of the way - and the recovery was despite the GOP, not because of it.

I note today that with a stronger majority Boehner appears to be willing to marginalize a couple of the nuts to serve as an example for the others. We’ll see how long the Establishment GOP feels they can continue to follow this course.

(Of course they could also just toss the Hastert Rule, make some deals using a moderate Dem/GOP majority and possibly pass some meaningful legislation that would prove this Congress capable of governing and leadership. {ROFLS})
