You make it sound like a man has no control over whether a pregnancy happens or not. Condoms don’t cost that much, and there are permanant measures if you want to be absolutely sure. However, the idea that by consenting to sex, a woman gives a man a vote in what happens to her body for the next nine months and her life for the next eighteen years (at least) is risible.
