His ass got handed to him with his first set of initiatives (2004 IIRC) that the unions defeated. Since then he has gone the compromise road, with predictable results. I believe he is termed out now and cannot run for Governor again. It will be interesting to see how he reacts to the failure of the last initiative from the special election a couple weeks ago. Can he lay the blame for the state of our State on the legislature, where it really belongs?

He will redeem himself somewhat in my eyes if he can do that.
