Yes, all things considered, I DO still think Carter is a “great man.” I am going to have to do a lot more research on the subject (a subject I, currently, know nothing about) before I disregard an opinion I’ve had of the man for well nigh 25 years.

I can disagree with someone on a particular issue and still think they’re good people.

You admit to knowing nothing about a subject (in this case a “man”), but for 25 years you thought he was “great”?
