Now, how about that dictation-thing, again…it’s an absurd impossibility, for a host of reasons. There were a number of different authors of the Torah, and real Biblical scholars (unfettered by matters of faith and dogma) have identifed their different styles and probable dates of editorship. Not to mention, a whole bunch of contradictions, doublets (where the same story is told twice, in slightly-different forms), and various different names for God being used. It’s not a matter for serious people to debate. Moses did not write it, unless he was affected by multiple-personality disorder.
