People do tend to fantasize about public schools along those lines. Kids can pray, read the Bible (I did once confiscate a Bible, I confess, but not for religious reasons), have prayer groups, wear crosses and hijabs…they just can’t have the school be the organizer and mandator of prayers.

you mean the supreme court DIDN’T say kids couldn’t have their own personal God in their hearts during the school day?????

and they can talk Him/Her during school hours?, in a school chair, on school grounds?????????????

no wonder the religious right is pissed………
