Don’t the Roma people have a distinct language which is classified as a “romance” language? Or do they not get counted because they’re “Gypsies”?

Per wiki their languages are distinct enough to identify seven of them—gets into an issue of ‘lumpers’ and ‘splitters’ again.

Wiki authors also recognize Veneto (Region of Venice) as distinct enough to be a separate language.
