It isn’t enough to beat Trump.

We have to get the Senate, too which is why I’m sending what I can to help Doug Jones hold on in Alabama.

Is that an argument for or against a Warren or Sanders or Harris? There’s no real answer to this. Any candidate will be a socialist, and Jones may have to take stances that make large numbers of Democrats angry. We just have to tell people that he will be the conservative part of the country we will have to negotiate with, and we would rather it be someone willing to negotiate in good faith.
