He initiated the quest for the mission to Mars? The plan and work that has been laid out and advanced for development of a new launch vehicle with moon basing as a step stone to worlds beyond? You know,the one that Obama just deemed too expensive and is slated for defunding? The one that puts us aboard Russian launch vehicles for the foreseeable future? The one that could interfere with social reprogramming? Is that what your asking?

Unless you see scheduled decommissioning of the shuttle as the predestined end of America’s space program of course, which I guess you and Obama do.

Bush did none of that. He rubber-stamped projects proposed by NASA and funded by Congress.

And manned missions to the moon or Mars are indeed a waste of time and money. As for “worlds beyond”, come and talk to me when you’ve perfected your warp drive.
