Seriously. The Cuban embargo is a pathetic, irrelevant Cold War relic that only even exists anymore so the GOP can pander to GOP voters in Florida.

We should lift the embargo and flood Havana with American dollars and business. Anything else is ridiculous.

Notwithstanding my earlier comment, I may agree with you. It may well be time to lift the embargo. I don’t have any particular connection with Cuba or Cuban Americans, so I have no ax to grind, but I always viewed the embargo as a very GOOD move in 1962, given the Cold War. It’s a nasty thing to say, but “it worked”. How much longer it should go on is a different question, and maybe it should have been lifted 10 years ago.
