I’m using “material” as a legal term, because I was discussing perjury. So I kind of WAS talking about a court case here. There are two discussions going on, one about a train wreck and the other about a court case.

You are not discussing a court case, because you earlier said there was no court case.
What she is saying now directly conflicts with what she said under oath in her deposition, which is indeed part of the court case file.
You are trying to make this apples and oranges, when it is no such thing.
