I was reading a article in the Washington Post, about a Brookings study of the counties that went for each candidate. You’ve probably seen it - HRC counties provide >64% of GDP. Not surprising, since metro counties are where the economic activity is, where the rich, the nearly rich, and the better-of-than average live and work.

The other thing it means is that we pay the bulk of the taxes. This means we’ll get the bulk of the tax cuts, which will mean we won’t be subsidizing their sorry asses quite so much.

Of course, there’s also the observation that Trump seems to be staffing his administration from the wealthy elite. You’d think that might irritate the average Trump voter, who thought he was voting for a ‘blue collar billionaire’. But then I remembered that the White Working Class hates those slightly above them in the economic scale. The “elites” they hate are not the ACTUAL elite, but rather people a bit more educated than they are, and a bit more wealthy than they are. Meanwhile they worship the really wealthy with a nauseating servility.

I conclude that eonomic inequlaity doesn’t bother them. They don’t think anyone should make more money than they do, unless they make a WHOLE HELL OF A LOT MORE money than they do. They’d be satisfied with a two-tier economy, as long as people who now make a little bit more than they do get dragged down to their level.

That’s the WWC that we’re told we need to cater to. Resentful, yet servile. Claiming to be anti-elite while worshipping those at the top. Hating their supervisor who had to lay them off, but loving the rich guy who made the decisions that led to it.
