I think Romney will have more success in the North east than he will any where else.
I think for him to make it in the Midwest he will have to bring on some more pro creationism/anti abortion/anti gay crazy talk. And if he wants to make it in the south he will need to use all those plus blow on the pro-confederacy dog whistle.
And in either case he will still have an obstacle to overcome with his Mormonism among the extremist Christians.
