Some do. Some of the nastier sort will never say a racist thing in their lives, but will still take racist actions. They’re rather the more difficult to deal with. My grandpa didn’t get hired at Berkeley because of his race and was told so to his face, but a lot of people don’t get hired because of their race but never know that was the factor.

There are quiet bigots as well as loudmouths.

Aren’t there, though.

This is why we have had a Civil Rights movement starting circa some time in the 1700s. We’ve been dealing with these people for many, many, many, many generations.
