I’ll raise a glass to every sane republican.

She’s an ex-Democrat. Somebody converted her on the abortion issue. She’s not tea-party-insane, but she’s on the wrong side in a few places, like drivers licenses for illegals and voter ID. I think if someone she respects told her the voter ID thing is a farce (ie: there is no fraud to be protected against) she could be convertible on that one. I won’t vote for her again unless she converts back to Democrat.

I do like having the first Latina governor in US history. I must be racist and sexist.

Also, when she was running I heard her speak, and an audience member from the tea party asked her about the tenth amendment, and she said, “I’m familiar with the tenth amendment. What about it?” and the teabagger didn’t know what to say and looked foolish. It was a heartwarming moment for me.
