The whole thing is so incredibly Pagan.

The idiotic, outraged, wingnuts are so blinded by their hatred of the black man in the white house that they defending Paganism in the name of Jesus.

It’s been a Christian custom for a long time now. As have a lot of things that weren’t originally Christian. Nu.

I’m always torn on this. The live trees are an American product, and smell good. But having a dying tree in the house squicks me out.

If we ever have a Christmas tree again, (doubtful) I think I’ll have a fir in a pot that can come indoors seasonally.
