I made the mistake of buying a membership to the 2nd Amendment Foundation last year. There’s a local kitchen table FFL here that gives a hefty discount on his fee to receive firearms from out of state if you have a membership to a gun rights organization and I thought what the hell. Now I get a hefty dose of crackpot right wing propaganda at least once a week, from either them, the NRA or some other goofball org wanting me to be very, very afraid that President Obama is going to confiscate mah shootin’ irons. So fucking lame.

While I agree with your statement about the propaganda, the administration isn’t helping the situation too much.
