Second, maybe you can explain how “thought crime” has ANYTHING to do with this thread? My understanding of the definition of “thought crime” comes from the following:
“In George Orwell’s dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four the government attempts to control not only the speech and actions, but also the thoughts …”

Rush Limbaugh’s story aside, are you telling me that a person is guilty of a crime just because they might have THOUGHT of committing the crime? That’s just absurd…or maybe you DO agree with “HR 1955 Thought Crime Legislation”?

THOSE are the two reasons why I “down-dinged” you…however, I’ll take the “down-ding” back if you can prove that you’re a mind reader. ;-)
