Way back in the summer of ‘72 I was residing in an area now known as Black Turn Brook State Forest, near Norton, VT.
Norton sits on the Canadian border. Back then to local store straddled the border, and if you wanted a cold “pop” or an ice cream sandwich you had to enter Canada.
