Good morning, lizards.

Was doing the laundry last night when my eyes fell on my old set of cross country skis, propped up in the basement corner. I’ve been feeling very keyed-up, anxious and confined as of late, and I realize that I have been away from the quiet, fragrant solitude of the woods for far too long.

I’m off to rectify that today… heading out to the local nature center where they have some nicely groomed ski trails that run through the woods and up along the beach dunes. Packing up coffee and sandwiches as I write this.
