Someone screwed up. The plan was to fire him and walk him out the door, no discussion. But his boss confronted him with the data in a one on one meeting on Monday morning. He’d know only I could have found that data. So he got out of that call, then called me to tell me he’s in love with me. Every warning bell I possess went off before I even knew about the previous meeting.

Sounds like MAGAt is trying to set up a “lover’s spat” to discredit your having found him out…and also to become the narrative in the media if he decides to “do something rash”.
